The Polarization Beam Combiner/ Splitter is a compact lightwave component that combines two orthogonal polarization signals into the output fiber. The optical device is manufactured using SMF-28, HI1060 Fiber or PM Panda fiber to suit different requirements. It is widely used in EDFA or Raman Amplifer systems. They have low insertion loss, high extinction ratio, excellent uniformity and stability.

* For Beam Combiner/Splitter with Connectors, IL will be 0.3dB higher, RL will be 5dB lower, ER will be 2dB lower.
* The PM fiber and connector key are aligned to the slow axis if port 3 is SMF-28 fiber, 250um bare fiber will be used when 250um or 400um Panda fiber is selected for port 1 and 2.
